How We Got Started
In 2012, the Administrative Council of the Churches of God, General Conference began to discuss the restructuring of ministry departments for efficiency and effectiveness. Three departments – Youth and Family Ministry, Leadership, and Church Renewal – were merged together to form one new department. With the wide range of ministry that was brought together, it was necessary for a new name and re-focusing to take place. Transformational Ministries was born with the focus of helping churches to live on mission, make disciples, and develop leaders.
