Providing personal and professional transforming experiences for individuals who lead Churches of God, General Conference congregations and church organizations into mission.
The Missional Leadership Initiative occurs as a two-year learning community. Participants will journey to immersions three times a year in January, May, and September. At each immersion, there will be delivery of content, exercises for discovery, on-site personal coaching, and ample time to rest.
In between immersions, participants gather in cohort groups to continue to process and apply what has been experienced. Cohorts meet either face-to-face or by video conference, depending on the proximity of participants.
$1,000 Tuition, with $500 due at the beginning of each year.
The tuition covers a portion of the total cost of the six immersions which include meals, lodging, programming, special guests, and books. The portion not covered by tuition is provided by the Transformational Ministries Commission. This represents our commitment to the growth and development of missional leaders in the CGGC and beyond.
Participants will also be responsible for their own travel costs to and from the six immersions as well as a “date night” during the first immersion when spouses are invited and encouraged to attend.
The Missional Leadership Initiative is designed and led by Reggie McNeal. Reggie is the author of A Work of the Heart, Missional Renaissance, Kingdom Come , and a host of other titles addressing leadership and missional ministry issues.
MLI has provided me with some increased awareness of some possible alternatives to traditional church programs and systems of leadership. I am excited to see how the Lord uses this new knowledge and awareness to improve the effectiveness of this vessel, me, to further His kingdom for His glory!Troy Caldwell
I think the biggest difference that MLI has made in my life is that I have embraced more opportunities to be missional in my daily walk with the Lord and the people that I come in contact with every day.Vicki Oberman
